Lance Kawesch, Esq.
Managing Partner
Lance Kawesch practices public and private company corporate and
securities law, with a particular focus on life science and technology
related companies. He represents Fortune 500 companies and
businesses with fewer than 500 employees, often in mergers and acquisitions,
licensing transactions, SEC registration statements and periodic
reporting. With assistance from associates, Mr. Kawesch represents
partnerships, startups, venture capital firms, angel investors, private
equity funds and venture-backed companies.
From 2003 to late 2006,
Mr. Kawesch was a partner at Duane Morris. From
1994 to 2002, Mr. Kawesch was a corporate and securities law associate
at Jones Day Reavis & Pogue, Hale and Dorr and Schnader Harrison
Goldstein & Manello. Mr. Kawesch earned his J.D. magna
cum laude from Boston University School of Law in 1994, where
he served as an editor of the Boston University Law Review. From
1983 to 1994, Mr. Kawesch co-founded and served as the chief software
architect of a Wall Street software company that Dun & Bradstreet
acquired in 1988. Mr. Kawesch earned his B.A. in Computer
Science from Brandeis University in 1983. |
